My four year old loves learning work books, whereas my six year old prefers more hand on learning, so I offer them both. I think a combination of activities that gives them the opportunity to develop different skills is best. I like Howard Gardner's Theory and Bloom's Tax for Thinking. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Jen</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/338292711957269138/2569268291964744528/comments/default/2816687451037297068'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/338292711957269138/2569268291964744528/comments/default/2816687451037297068'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.preschoolplaybook.com/2009/01/worksheet-debate.html?showComment=1232511540000#c2816687451037297068' title=''/><author><name>Jen</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/16340498474420992787</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='24' height='32' src='http://bp3.blogger.com/_D-cqGkKP8Ho/SI6bDXayvpI/AAAAAAAAAA4/umYGQE5qW-Q/S220/Jen+Cramer+Scullion-+Headshot+1.jpg'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.preschoolplaybook.com/2009/01/worksheet-debate.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-338292711957269138.post-2569268291964744528' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/338292711957269138/posts/default/2569268291964744528' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1914619419'/></entry></feed>
