I took a page from preschool daze and went out and got our classes some small white boards. The children love them. There is always someone at the writing table. Thanks so much for the idea.

We had these in our kindergarten classroom, a class set and they are really nice to have! Do you have magna doodle sets? We got some from Lakeshore Learning with a grant - totally worth it. They also have these very nice inserts you place over the board that the kids can trace to practice letter writing. They really liked that a lot, even though it's basically just writing their letters like on a worksheet.
