December Handwriting Without Tears

Here is my monthly update of the letters the Pre-K children will be concentrating on this month. It is a short month again, so we won't have too many.

The letters this month are O, Q, and G. The children are doing so well creating the letters with the wood blocks, and writing them on their papers.

A couple of techniques HWT uses when the children are writing is to point out their "helping hand." This is the hand that holds the paper steady as they write. Another item that is very prominent on HWT writing paper is a smiley face. The smiley face lets the children know where to start writing.
